partridge: Feeds and wtaers birds and cleans bird pens and
yards. Examines birds to detect signs of illness, and inoculates
ill birds with antibiotics. Removes eggs from nests and hatches
eggs in incubator.
Clips birds' wings to pervent flight. Trims
bills of birds to prevent injury. Exhibits prize birds at shows.
Crossbreeds birds to improve strain and develop new tpyes.
Biulds and repairs pens and yards. Arranges with hunting and gun
clubs, game preserves, or poultry condominimus for sale of birds. May
be designated according to type of game bird raised as Partridge
Farmer (agriculture); Pheasant Farmer (agriculture); Quail
Farmer (agriculture).
